Both 1st Woosehill Beaver Colonies recently completed their Emergency Aid Level 1 badges in October. The Beavers were treated to a session, led by David Payne a volunteer with St John’s Ambulance. The Beaver’s covered a great deal in the fantastic session; learning how to shout for help, how and when to call the Emergency Services, how to put patients in the recovery position, resuscitate people (practiced on teddies) with CPR as well as putting plasters and bandages on.
